The chill of a Colorado high-country winter calls for a beer with extra flavor and strength. Here it is. At over 7% alcohol, with a sturdy texture and rich flavors of caramel and chocolate, our holiday seasonal is the fermented equivalent of a good fire.

"This is one of my favorite christmas ales that are distributed in Colorado. Nice blend of carmel and chocolate flavor with spices. I recommend this and will drink it again next year."

"A new discovery for yours truly thanks to the Pittsburgh Bottle Shop. Breckenridge Christmas is a nice mahogany to dark ruby reddish liquid holding up a full sturdy tan head that melts to a thick 1/2 inch leave of suds. The bold malty aromas will raise your eyebrows. The tongue detected a heavy cookie like quality, with a well balanced hop tinge at the end. Spice notes include that of juniper, ginger, dry pepper, and a dash of caraway seed. This one reminded me of Penn St. Nick's Bock, only with a slightly more prominent hop character. Not bad at all. This really has been a fun Christmas season for tasting unexplored holiday brew!

"Aroma is sweet with some maltiness as well as caramel with some faint chocolate overtones. Appearance is a dark, rich burgundy in color when held to the light with a full head on top that is light-tan in color and dissipates. Mouthfeel is medium in body and quite complex with a palate that is robust. Flavor is of some spice and chocolate with some toffee in the aftertaste and has a finish that is full and a bit alcoholic and tasty. Overall, good Christmas ale here with faint hop bite which switches it up a bit..."
