"The Carbonation on this amber is huge. I thought I was frinking pop raocks for a minute. That being said it works with the flavor some how. Malty and sweet with no aftertaste, this amber is average but still good."

"Eh, admittedly I’m not an Amber fan, but this is "okay" at best. Nice lacing, Average malty aroma, flavor was weak while malty, palate was watery. Overall, it’s just another Amber."

"Ambers in general aren't my favorite style, as I've said before. Still, Ropewalk is a cut above most of the others I've tried. Has a smoky-sweet aroma, and has the typical handsome amber color in the glass. Sweet without cloying, and tastes slightly smoky. This is a completely unoffensive, middle-of-the-road, you-can-drink-it-all-night beer. If you're trying to convert a swiller, this might be the beer to do it."

"Medium bodied amber ale. Medium head. Aroma is dark fruit, malts and touches of molasses. A medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity and sweet, touches of molasses. Hops are slightly spicy and grapefruity. Fairly smooth tasting. Nicely balanced. A little hoppier than your typical amber, but its still a typical amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet."
