Dark lager
Braunstein Dark Lager is based on the Munich Dunkel, and is flavoured with American hops.
This is a beautiful dark brown bottom fermented beer, almost mahogany in colour, with a rich aroma, containing soft malt nuances – sweetness, however, without being too sweet. It has a touch of caramel and chocolate in its aftertaste.
In other words, a superb light and easily accessible dark beer.

"500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Beautiful copper colour, large off-white head. Lovely and distinct aroma and flavour of caramel and treacle, also notes of butterscotch. Moderate hops. A very nice and drinkable dunkel."
