"New packaging, in cans. Grabbed a 6 pack of all blacks cans, featuring a blazing red A. Pours a reddish coppery color with a thick, white head. Pretty decent foam stability, left chunks of lace on the side of the glass. Malty and caramel smell, not strong but its there. Straight forward amber ale flavor. Again, nothing really strong, medium bodied, with malty tastes and a bit of bitterness to finish. Has an earthy, bitterness, almost reminds me of an ESB. Smooth and pretty creamy. Touch of metallic aftertaste, not sure if it is from the can, or just in my head. Good, but not great."

"pours a nice light brown color...some might say amber color.... :| anyways nice creamy white head that left medium lacing. the aroma was of floral hops and citrus. but it was pretty weak... the taste is hoppy and hoppy... thats all i can get. the mouthfeel is smooth, creamyish and mediumed bodied. i enjoyed the look and the feel... but smell and taste wasnt there for me... diffently a easy drinking beer tho, id drink it again."

"Very nice beer, I swear this is more of a IPA then a amber ale but no matter how I look at it it's a great beer. Beer poured a cloudy light brown with a touch of orange showing when held to the light, there was a small tan cap that didn't last to long. The smell of hops is very apparent, with caramel and banana hiding in the back ground. I'm all about the good carbonation balance, not to flat and not burning your tung and this beer does just that, it also has a very smooth feel to it. Wow tons of hops in this brew, nicely bitter, and balanced very will with roasted malts. I've been loving the bitter beer lately and this is a good one. The after taste is bitter but some how still smooth and there is a touch of alcohol left lingering in the back of your throat. This stuff is awesome, drink lots of it.

"A nice amber ale, although it doesn't quite live up to the flowery prose on the label. Nonetheless, it was a refreshing beer with a good amber colour and an average head. Aroma and head showed traces of both malt and hops in a nice balance. "
