This is a special version of Saint Lamvinus that was bottled unblended (and uncarbonated) for Akkurat in Stockholm, Sweden. Only 200 bottles were made. There are no distinguishing marks on them. This is NOT available in the United States nor in Belgium, unless from Jean Van Roy himself. Some bottles are available in Denmark from members of the website Ratebeer, otherwise only from Akkurat. Unless you specifically were told that you had unblended Lamvinus, and it was dead flat, you had regular Lamvinus.

"Bottle, RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, "pre-tasting". Murky red colour, no head. Intense aroma of farmhouse, fermenting fruits and vinegar. Extremely sour flavour, pure fruit vinegar. Too sour for me. "

"Bottle@Akkurat, Stockholm(0,75 l, bottle 2042, 2004 vintage). I had this one while tbone_ was resting at the red boat, still there was some left for him (and Ronny) and some other people that happened to sit by the table while I was alone. Okay, so off for the rating. Cherryish red colour, not much head. Aroma is sour grapes, almost red wineish. Flavour is super dry and supersour, and some pleasant hints of grapes. Also some wooden hints. Totally superb thing! But was quite hard to drink one bottle yourself... I guess that was what the bartender meant when he asked how many glasses and I said one "Congratulations" was the answer... "

"Poured a hazy, ruby red color with a white head that left a collar around the glass and spots of lacing. Aroma of strong brett, farmhouse, some raspberry, bordeaux grapes, and light oak. Taste of strong tart grape, with more light oak, and a smooth, mouthpuckering sourness, with a beautiful soft and subtle mouthfeel. Big thanks to Jacob for hooking us up with this a while ago!"
