A pleasingly warming beer with it's amber hue showing off it's rich malt heritage. Mildly bittered with a smooth hop flavor complementing the malt. Winter Sk?makes a person welcome the onslaught of the cold. Available November through January.

"Courtesy of BeerHunter and Phishpond. Another Wisconsin winner, this one pours a deep, clear amber with a nice head and good, tight lacing. Good carbonation. Aroma of sweet slightly toasted malts, caramel and very slight hops. Taste is rich with an edge to the malts and slight sweetness with some hops. Very, very good beer."

"This one poured a ncie amber color with a firm frothy head. It had a nice sweet aroma with a faint hop presence. The flavor was strong in malt and resembled, in a way, bread. Went down smooth."

"Poured a dark reddish brown colour, with a medium sized tan head. Aroma has something of vanilla, lightly toasted malts and a little caramel. Mouthfeel is light and creamy, taste is soft and mildly acidic. finishes long."

"Beer poured a pale light brown color, with nice head and a little lacing. Aroma of stinky feet, nuts and bread. Flavor was sweet malts, nuts and burnt bread. A nice grassy type hoppiness balanced it out. Okay, but not terrific."

"Poured a amber color just okay head and small lacing. Aroma was very doughy and sweet caramel. Flavor was much the same, but still a good balance to the sweetness. Thought it was going to be to sweet from the aroma.
