Loosely based on Vienna style, Wisconsin Amber is a rich, malty lager balanced out with mild hop bittering and enticing hop flavor. Very fulfilling. Very drinkable.

"A very good amber - pours copper-amber with a faint head that quickly disapates with minimal lacing. Aroma is mildly sweet with caramel. Medium to full-bodied and sweet with caramel flavor and malt. Clean finish."

"Bottled@Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some slight cardboardy notes as well. Flavour is the same with caramel and mild notes of earth and herbs. "

"A good-looking beer, coppery gold with a fair-sized tan head, but it quickly disapates leaving little trace. Aroma is lightly seet with caramel notes and a faint hop-fruity tinge. Mouthfeel is full and robust. Very well-balanced; smooth caramel malts yield to a pleasant hop bitterness and a long satisfying dry finish. Well-crafted and very drinkable version of the Vienna style. "

"Tasted on tap. This amber pours a medium brown color. Small sized beige foamy head. Aroma is caramel and sweet, touch of bread. A medium bodied amber. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are slightly floral. There is a touch of sourness to this amber that sets it slightly apart from the typical brewpub amber. A very drinkable amber, hate to say this but its NOT boring, almost. Mouthfeel is full. Finish in clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. "
