To think this Cardosīs as one style more is to forget the most important, because a greater concentration influences flavor evolution during second fermentation, giving the beer more harmony and sweetness. The great Cardos reserve maintains itīs quality for many years if stored in a dark place, this way the beer attains a slight and agreeable port flavor. Very appropriated for gatherings and celebrations, Cardos Barley Wine is a gift for connoisseurs who will drink it at cellar temperature in appropriate glassware.

"Hazy amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is grass, alcohol and some hay. Flavour is quite much the same along with yeast and earthyness. Some slight fruityness. Though the alcohol in it, I doubt the 12 % is true... "
