"Pours near black with airy, fading head and nice lacing. The aroma balances a roasty base against light evergreen notes. Flavor is milk chocolately and balanced-to-sweet with a clean finish. Medium bodied and vigorously carbonated. Thanks to pfoxyjohn for sending this one to Oklahoma."

"Sampled from bottle, thanks to pfoxyjohn. This porter pours reddish-brown with a thin tan head and thick lacing. Its aroma is subtle with toasted and brown malts. Slightly bitter and dry. Lost of roasted malts with a tinge of astringency. Medium-bodied and smooth. An enjoyable porter. "

"Poured a dark mahogany color, kinda murky, with a thin creamy tan head that left moderate lacing. The nose was rather light; faint aromas of roasted malt and cocoa. A full, smooth mouthfeel and soft, mild flavors of chocolate and roasted grain with a hint of coffee. Roasted flavor is cut by a sharp, bitter hop edge that leads to a bitter chocolate finish."

"Pours a dark chocolate brown colour with a reddish hue near the bottom. Carries along with it a large frothy tan head with excellent retention and nice spiderweb like lacing. Aromas of roasted nuts and toffee. Sweet flavors of tobacco, mocha, toffee and butterscotch. Very tastey!"
