"Dark rubyish black colour, mediumsized brownish beige head. Weak malty aroma. Flavour is caramel malts, saccharine and some slight roast. Unbalanced, watery and closer to a dunkel than anything else. "

"Bottle 2005
murky brown, slightly sweet aroma and flavor, the body is a bit thin. The flavor is has some roastiness and caramel in it. I was expecting something a bit 'bigger'"

"Had this on Tortola in the BVIs. Highly roasted with coffee flavors, dark, sweet, and very drinkable even on a hot day. Has a nice body but perhaps a little less creamy than the ever popular Guiness. Very nice."

"The brewery claims this one to be "the best porter in the world". I don't think so - but it sure is a very decent, smooth and rounded Baltic porter. Fairly sweet, but not too much. A beer I always come back to when in Denmark. The best from Ceres / Bryggerigruppen."
