Inspired by William Blake's Jerusalem, this is a lively, refreshing golden ale, alive with English passion. A precious blend of the finest malts, hops and natural mineral water produces an instantly refreshing beer. Zesty aromas awaken the senses, leading to a dry, crisp flavour with more than a hint of citrus on the palate and a smooth lasting finish.

"500ml bottle decants a shimmering orange-amber ale with a small rocky cap. Modest lacing.
Bready-sweet aroma with a wisp of grass and a rusted iron tone.
The wonderful malty smell is more pronounced in the aroma than taste. The breadiness is there but thinner, thin plate, lightly bitter (mostly long boil Goldings) no fruity esters to speak of, fast clean lightly bitter finish.
Mild, understated, approachable, good drinkability and a very clean tasting bitter but uninspired. Good for sessioning."

"Comes in a clear bottle and bought at the LCBO as a seasonal offering. Pours a golden-orange colour with a nice creamy slightly off-white head, which leaves a bit of lacing and a thick coat over the brew. The first aroma I got from this one right after its pour was a pilsner scent. This soon went away, and a mild hop nose took over. Full streaming small bubble carbonation and crisp mouthfeel. The taste has a bit of citrus with malt, and the hop is present with slight bitterness, but overall, quite refreshing and well-balanced. Good name representing the colour, and again, I always seem to be impressed with Charles Wells brew for a great session beer."

"Another Wells beer that needs to be put in it's place. This beer is a unique colour, not sure I have seen anything like it.......and bright yellow-orange. Like Kool-Aid. The aroma is grassy, and the flavour is grassy. I saw an ad for this in a British Beer mag, if they need to advertise to push this, it ain't worth it."

"341ml bottle
4.7% ABV
I tried this beer on July 11, 2008 at “Smokeless Joe’s” in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark translucent gold colour, with orange hues, with a thin white head. The aroma was mainly grassy malts with some hoppish tones. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, some citrusy tones, and a small tinge of hoppish bitterness.
