Yellow, cloudy because of wheat proteins, this beer releases aromas of citrus and yeast and a refreshing tangy aftertaste.

"This Charlevoix region witbier pours a cloudy golden colour with a big white fluffy head that stays forever (well, almost) and leaves great patchy-chunky lace. Lots of carbonation. Very nice spicy nose at first pour, then the Begian white beer yeast appears and the aromas soften. The oranges are then felt. Average watery mouthfeel with a very mild tart. Refreshing wheat taste with a lemon twist and the yeast present again. I do feel a touch of maple in the aroma and taste too. A pretty good witbier, from a great micro I wish to visit in a few weeks."

"Pours with good head, fairly lively. A hazy yellow colour. Everything is where it should be in the nose. Lots of coriander and Belgian wheat notes. Quite soft considering the generous use of flavours. Another (sorta one-dimensional) beer that is dominated by coriander - but it is nice I suppose. Mouthfeel could be a little more robust I thought. This is certainly a "standup" witbier, but I wouldn't go to say "stand-out". "

"While I admit to not being a huge fan of this style of beer, I would be a fool not to recognize that this is one tasty Summer refresher.... :)
Poured this 500mL bottle into one of my tall German hefeweizen glasses, which allowed the brilliant white foam monster room to roam. Beneath, a very light and pale yellowish body.
I think it's a credit to this beer that I was able to distinguish the aroma, since I have something a small cold. The fact that I was able to pick up some of the nuances of the nose is surely noteworthy!
I was also happy with the flavor profile of this beer. Very light and "airy" in the mouthfeel, which allowed the slight fruit (and corriander?) sublities to shine through. Seemed to come across as more of a German Hefeweizen (less the banana/clove sledgehammer) than what I would normally think of when someone says "Wit". Perhaps a Belgian-esqe variation, eh?
Either way, this was indeed a nice afternoon/after-work beer -- enough to quench a thirst, and to please the palate, without getting too carried away. Recommended.

"Bottle: Poured a dark yellow lightly cloudy ale with a huge foamy head with perfect retention. Aroma of coriander is nicely mixed with strong wheat – what a difference from most light witbier that are brewed to try and please the non-beer crowd. Taste is dominated by wheat and reveals a nice coriander/citrus finish. Body is quite full but still provide a refreshing edge. Nice to see somebody trying to put some more character in a style that is bland most of the time."
