"Pours richly brown with a rather murky clarity. Very big head that takes a while to subside to an easy drinkable level. First sip had a bitter creamy note. Second sip had some clashing competing bitter nutty notes that rapidly smoothed out to a pleasant beery delight. A bit too expensive to be and everyday beverage, but rather nice to have experienced it at least once in life."

"This beer I bought at the local bar and had it in the tulip glass. It poured a nice amber, brown color with a fairly thick head. The aroma was sweet and pleasant with a little alcohol tingle. The taste was complex with dark fruits and oak wood. The only downside was the little alcohol burn in the throat and the price of course. A good beer but one to be enjoyed on special occasions."

"Pours a rich caramel with a foamy, cashew head that dissapates at a medium pace (pun intended - Adam Sandler fans will get this one). Aroma is of brown sugar, caramel, bright citrus, and mulling spices with a light hint of apple pie. Flavor, ah, the flavor. 9% ABV is evident, and well balanced. Warm without being heady. Nice smooth mouthfeel, texture is velvet and ripe fruit - like the toned body of a 21 year-old bikini model. Citrus is light, grapefruit and cantelope. Spices are nutneg, roasted cashew, nutmeg, allspice, and hints of corriander. Finish is crips yet lingering - especially as it warms ( I am near the end of a 22 oz bomber while writing this). Drinks best cooler than warmer, maybe 48-53 degrees and letting it warm will allow you to enjoy all this brew has to offer. Drinks well with pork or chicken - and a great brew to enjoy in good company. Slainte!!!"

"Pours a murky amber-brown with the smallest of tan heads. Aroma of dark fruits, yeast, bread, and a hint of alcohol. One of the smoothest mouthfeels of any beer I've tried. Taste is fruity--cherries, plums, raisins--but not overly sweet. A top notch beer for sure."
