One of the most interesting styles of beer in the world must be the Belgian White or Wit beer. White beers like Waving Wheat are part of the world's large family of rustic, unfiltered wheat beers (our famous choc beer being one of them). The suspended yeast and wheat proteins give white beers their unique hazy, white appearance. Its elusive flavors are complex, and it seems that with every sip another can and will reveal itself - the wheat, the Belgian yeast, the delicate blend of spices, and of course the citrus bitterness of the Curacao orange peel. Here at choc Beer Company, we happen to hold unfiltered wheat beers in very high regard, and when the time came to brew another, the crisp, refreshing white beer was the unanimous choice of the brewery staff. We hope you enjoy our efforts.

"Tasted the best of Krebs, Oklahoma with this fine brew and some amazing Lovera's homemade caciovallo, both courtesy of Brett and Hannah. Poured a cloudy deep yellow with a thin white head. Light spice, yeast and fresh grain in the nose. Flavors of fruit - citrus and a little banana - with mild spiciness that complemented the subtle-but-sharp-tinged flavors of the cheese, topped with a little olive oil and cracked black pepper. Nice smooth mouthfeel, but the mild finish was a little thin (not unlike that of Wittekerke). Reserved but refreshing. MUSIC: 'Smile and Wave' by Maria Taylor"

"From a bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a large white head. Spicy/fruity aroma. Flavor is not very strong, but is interesting. Not a huge fan of the style, but it's pretty good considering. Thanks again to Brett and Dansting for getting this bottle for me."
