"Hazy dark brown with a small dissapearing tan-coloured foam.LPeasant malty aroma of nuts, fudge, earth and cold coffee with an yeasty undertone. Flavour is rather thin of cold coffee and milky chocolate with sourish undertone. Thin-bodied. Short nutty, sourish aftertaste with a low bitterness. Infected?"

"Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. Black (= VERY dark brown) colour. Some natural carbonation, zesty, very nice. Pleasant roasty aroma. Flavour has dark chocolate, walnuts and roast barley. Not overdone, easy drinking. "
