A rich ruby dark copper coloured ale. Well balanced with roast barley and malt. It has a deep fruity taste with a smooth dry finish.

"Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is malty with some fruit. Smooth and full bodied. Pretty good."
