"Colt 45 is surprisingly non-discript. Pours a golden color with a fleeting head (although I doubt too much is ever consumed from glass). There is some malt flavor, but you can certainly sense adjuncts as the beer warms. Not the best but far from the worst in this class. I've had this in everything from 12 oz cans to 40's. The 22 bottle is perfect for cutting the lawn since it fits perfectly in my mowers cup holder and won't get too warm before you can finish it. "

"How can Billy Dee Williams be wrong? C'mon. This is THE classic Malt Liquor. If I'm drinking malt liquor and buying it myself, this is the one I'd buy."

"The taste wasn't really as bad I thought it would be for a cheap beer! I had also tried the 8% version which had a better taste. I found it to be about the same as a Budweiser! "

"Put it in a brown bag and guzzle it cold. Let it warm, but only if you wish to have a nasty taste. They should just let this die a quiet death. The taste is subdued when chilled. When warm however, it's a whole new animal. I tasted metal and syrup."

"What can i say that hasnt been said already? Colt isnt the worst malt liquor out there but it isnt the best, It tastes like it smells, good for a cheap buzz. I still like the Billy Dee Williams commercial though."
