"Pours a clear medium yellow with a thick white head that is sustained leaving some very nice tight lacing. Excellent fizzy carbonation. Aromas of lemon, lemongrass, citrus sweet malts and yeast. Taste is smooth and zesty with a citrus-lemon fizz, sweet malts and a yeasty mouthfeel. Quite tasty."

"A golden yellow with slight orange haze body with a thick white cap that has brown flecks, loads of carbonation. Mostly malt tones with some floral notes showing. Mouthfeel was smooth with a touch of crispness, it was both bitter and sweet with many flavors of spices, citrus, pear, yeasts, malts and even a little bread. All flavors were well balanced none were overwhelming, a very nice beer thats worth a try. "

"With 2 Corsendonk brews on draught at RFD in Washington, DC, I had to have one of both. The Abbey Pale Ale was the one that I had to finish out the night. It was served up to the table in a standard goblet.
The aroma on this one was a spice and yeast mixture that was just OK. The appearance was great though. Sitting in it's goblet, the beer had a medium brown color to it with a nice white head on it. As you drank the beer down it left some amazing lacing behind on the walls of the glass.
When I got around to drinking it, the beer was moderately smooth. It had a nice flavor going to it that gave you some sweet notes, mixed in with some spiciness. You can definitely taste the alcohol on this one though and I think that overwhelms the hops, as they are not very pronounced.
This Abbey Pale Ale is pretty consistent with the other Corsendonk products in that it is a pretty well crafted beer. I definitely plan on getting some more of this if I ever see it on draught again. "

"Hazy pale golden with a large foamy thick white head. Fresh sparkling aroma of flowers, lemon, oranges, sugar and yeast. Soft and creamy lemony flavour with notes of yeast and pear. Dryish finish with a soft fruity background. Very drinkable...well-balanced."

"Poured out a nice creamy, puffy white cap, great 360 degree lacing. The colour is a nice gold with a weak orange tint and a small ammount of floaties. The aroma seems dry with yeast, weak fruit, light spice (not sure which ones), malts that are sort of biscuity with a hint of chocolate??. Overall, the aroma is a bit weak. The taste was yeasty, weak spice, slight orange, a touch sour and somewhat dry. Very drinkable with good malt (biscuity / bready). Medium bodied. Smooth with a good feeling mid-sip. Short lived spicy finish."
