"This had a honey-wheat citrus flavor. Tasted like a cross of Corsendonk pale and paulaner hefe, but not nearly as good as either i guess....It was pale gold with a sticky head. An aroma of dry yeasty perfumes and lemony citrus......diabolical yeah it gets me drunk. Though fairly plain for belgian ale. rated by style"

"Not what I expected for the price, but still very good. First taste was very disheartening, since it had a bit of a wine flavor to it. I personally would rather have raw sewage in my mouth than wine, but after a few sips it started to taste very good. So if the beer taste is so good that it can overpower the horrendous taste of wine, than that has to count for something. If you like wine, then this is the beer for you. If you want to know what it looked like or smelled like, then I don't know what to tell you. I never looked at it or smelled it, well because it is BEER, what difference could it possibly make what it looked or smelled like!?"

"01.07.05 750ml bottle thanks to loweredsixth (Joe). I had no idea what to expect with this stuff but I was excited to try a new tripel. Pale yellow pour and a giant white head, rocky, fading to a thin film. Sticky lumps of lace coat the glass like a doily. Aromas of anise (!), lemon zest, grass, loads of spicey yeast. Flavors are right in line with aromas - spicey anise, tart grass, dry finish with pepper. Light, generic fruitiness throughout. Very nice and very drinkable though nothing extraordinary. Thanks for the rarity, Joe!"

"This beer at first had the taste of a double but it hit like a triple. This ale has a pleasent aftertaste and look to it. It also had the trademark Belgium head. Overall a good beer that I would buy again."

"I wasn't sure what to expect from this brew. I've never heard of it before and while shopping for more brew at Trader Joe's I ran across it unexpectedly. I was glad I did, becuase I was very impressed with the overall quality of this triple. A HUGE foamy head, explosive aroma of fruit, a nice slightly cloudy yellow hue gives way to a pleasant fruity/citrus taste with little alcohol bite. It did remind me somewhat of a hefeweizen, but obviously a triple. Very recommended."
