Since 1965, An De Ryck has been brewing a slightly stronger beer in the traditional pale ale style to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. The use of caramel malt determines the colour and taste of this beer.

"Hazy brown colour, beige creamy head. Plummy and spicy aroma and flavour. Some sourness and raisins in it too. Aftertaste is hayish hoppy along with plummy sweetness. The version I had was at 6.2%. "
