"Pours a light brown with a medium head. Nice aroma of malts, sugars, caramel and banana. The taste is sweet malts, dried fruits and a subtle cinnamon flavor. Quite tasty."

"I really didn't taste a lot of the flavors I normally associate with xmas such as ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, rather I got a little bit of spice, pears, sour apples, plums, yeast and some candi or brown sugars. Very drinkable though, 10% is hidden. The appearance is nice, amber-brown color, nice fluffy off-white head that sticks around. I admit I expected a little better but this is still passable as a good beer. On to the next xmas beer! "

"This Christmas ale poured with a murky mahogany colored body and was topped off by a medium sized, thick and sticky light brown head that left good lace throughout. The aroma is sweet malts, bubblegum, some spicy tones and a faint alcohol presence. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and very rich. The flavor starts off sweet with candi sugar, bubblegum and and rich fruity malts. The initial sweet taste mellows into some nice flavors of yeast, nutmeg, corriander, hops, lemon peel, and cinnimon with a touch of alcohol in the dry finish."

"Aroma is strong, malty, with plenty of spice hints and even a bit of an odd, rubbery odor that still was not unappetizing. It pours out a dark amber-brown, almost the color of cola with a decent head. Flavor is strong and mouth-filling, malty and quite spicy, with a touch of hops. This ale is quite smooth but has a good bite to it."

"Red foil topped speckled grey 11.2 fl. oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, deep auburn with a beautiful, if short-lived light brown head. No lace. Candi sugar dominates the surprisingly tempting aroma. A tart, spicy taste enlivens the malty base. Delightfully smooth on the palate. A lingering yeast presence produces a tangy aftertaste. Loved it. "
