This beer was born from the blending of two enduring traditions: Scottish brewing and Québec’s maple syrup production. It is a perfect balance between a maple beverage and beer. The taste of the maple syrup adds to the complexity of the beer, without being overpowering. The first draught fills the mouth with a taste of woody malt which is sustained by a discrete syrupy savour. The lingering aftertaste is one of warm alcohol which coats the mouth with the sweetness of maple toffee. Many maple beers have been brewed in Québec, however the ´ Équinoxe du printemps ª is the first to succeed in producing a beer that truly bears the essence of maple syrup.

"Bottle: Poured a light hazy brown color ale with a huge foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of light maple notes with some caramel malt. Taste is a mix between some medium sweetness with light maples notes and good caramel malt notes. Nice creamy body with good carbonation. I think this beer could have been improved with a more pronounce maple taste but still very good nonetheless."

"Poured a reddish brown color with a thin, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of light fruits, maple syrup, scotch, oak, cherries, yeast, and alcohol. Taste of maple syrup, caramel malts, cherries, light bitterness, and a touch of alcohol."
