The elusive brew is made from pilsner malt and amber malt with an original gravity of 26.5?P, yielding an 11% abv. It's hopped with Warrior and Glacier varieties. Primary fermentation takes place in open vessels using two yeast strains, one American and one English. For added complexity, the beer is conditioned on barrel staves of French Oak for four months before being dry hopped with Glacier at the rate of a half-pound per barrel. This elixir is then blended 50/50 with 90 Minute IPA. After blending, the beer will measure 80 IBU and 10% abv.

"A hazy orange beer with a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet fruity on an alcoholic backdrop. The flavor is fruity with mango and passion fruit being most dominant, leading to an end, that mixes in some wood notes."

"This beer poured with a burnt copper colored body capped with a medium sized, fluffy off white head that left nice lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma was big grapefruit hops, sweet caramel malts, and some light alcohol. Mouthfeel was medium to full bodied and very dry. The flavor was sweet malts, citrus, oak, alcohol and piney hops."

"Aroma is not strong, but fairly hoppy with a surprising fruity overtone, like apricot or peach. Pours a rich dark brownish amber with a thick, fluffy head - darker than most IPAs I have tried. Flavor is rich and hoppy but not too bitter, with a pleasantly smoky hint. This ale dances on your tongue and leaves a hoppy, satisfying aftertaste."

"Got this brew from one of my beer sampling buddies the other day. Aroma on this creation is tons of pine and tons of citrus and mango with pleasant hoppy dryness and dried floral overtones with maybe some very faint light wood like cedar. Appearance is a sharp, reddish-amber with a full head on top that is off-white and well-carbonated and diminishes to light, sticky lacing that adheres to the glass. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and very complex with pretentious hoppy balance with a palate that is crisp, clean, and sharp with some wet-like overtones and dryness. Flavor is of tropical fruit, mango, pine syrup, and hop flowers with an aftertaste that is sticky but smooth with decent chewy malt and a finish that is of grapefruit and is very bitter with no alcohol coming through. Overall, great brew here for sure and is basically 90-minute aged for more complex characteristics, recommended!!!! "
