"Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a hazy, light yellow colored body that produces little to no head. What little head is made on the pour quickly fizzles out leaving no head or lace. (This seems week even for a Berliner Weissbier.) There are some visible streams of carbonation that rush to the head and quickly dissipate.
Smell: The aroma has sharp sour fruit notes with pale sour wheat notes and faint grassy hops off in the distance.
Taste/Mouth feel: The first sip has a sour/tart puckering effect on the palate. There is an unripe sour peach flavor that mixes with tart wheat malt and pale grain. It finishes on the tart side with just a hint of grassy hops and mild bitterness. It has a nice level of carbonation that helps to clean the palate. The body is light with slightly thin texture.
Notes: My first thought was that this tasted like a Colt 45 with a blast of sour peach flavoring but after my second bottle I started to get a little better appreciation for this beer.

"Suddenly the berliner weisse is flowing like crazy; this one courtesy of bluesandbarbq. Pours a pale lemon yellow with a thin, spritely white head. Carbonic palate. Very faint citrus aroma. Flavor is puckeringly tart, lemon-y. Can't discern any fruit but citrus. Finish is crisp and dry, but still very, very tart. It's growing on me, though. MUSIC: 'Peachy' by Missy Higgins"

"Pours a light slightly cloudy yellow with a thin white head that fades quickly leaving some lacing. Good carbonation. Aroma is very tart and sour with a hint of advertised peaches and some wheat and malts. Taste is rather tart but clean with a maltiness that is a little bit sour but still very refreshing."

"Pours a murky yellow color with a quick fading white head. Aroma is malty and grassy with just a faint hint of citrus fruit. The beer tastes very tart and tangy with lemons and peaches and a touch of wheaty malt. Very acidic and tart which masks anything else the beer may have going for it. Nice attempt at something different but this just isn't good. "

"Pours a cloudy strawberry blonde with a minimal head that doesn't stick around. The aroma is musty, sour yeast. Mouthfeel is acidic and heavily carbonated. Taste is sweet at first, dominated by the peach and sugar, then is very tart with LOTS of carbonation.
I don't really know what to think of this 'beer'. It's not something I'd seek out, but it seems like a great summer beer, perhaps to drink after cutting the grass. I have no comparison to other Berliner Weisse as I've never had another. It's worth a shot, if only to sample a variation on the style."
