DOM and Kölsch are for cologne resident, what Romeo was for Julia: a real heart matter. He who is named CATHEDRAL Kölsch, wakes therefore entirely special expectations". So it sounds on the back label of the new DOM Kölsch-bottles.
With our new sign entrance, we would like to fulfill exactly these expectations of the kölschen Kölschgemeinde.

"I will admit up front I am a big fan of Koelsch style beers. I would have to say though that this one was the best of them that I have had, and I have have had a good 10-12 different brews between German and American."

"Yellowish golden colour, big creamyish foamy head. Malty and salty aroma with hoppy hints. Flavour is dominated by malts and hops. At first a bit salty, but it turns quite sweet and soft in finish. "

"I had this beer once when my friends from Germany brought it over for me. I enjoyed this beer a great deal. While there is nothing particularly special about it, the beer has a nice flavor about it and has that Old Europe feel to it. I would encourage people to give this brew a try. "

"Clear golden yellow color with a pillowy white head. Very similar looking and smelling to a pilsner. The flavor was pretty sweet and malty (almost fruity) with a nice hoppy finish, somewhat dry. The mouthfeel, in addition to being dry, was rather carbonated. This beer capped my August '05 trip to Germany and Belgium, and it was all I wanted (a single beer) in Cologne that last night before an early wakeup call for the Frankfurt airport drive."
