Dreher Pils has a medium aroma of hop and a mild bitter taste of malt. In September 1998 Dreher Pils was given the silver medal at the annual competition of the independent Belgian Monde Selection.

"I am living in Budapest for the next year, and since i have been here i try to steer clear of Dreher. It has a sweet finish that i am not too fond of. "

"(5.2%, thanks again to boss...). BBE 12/06. Pours a yellowish golden colour with white mediumsized bubbly head. A very hoppy aroma, with some sweetness in it, like many other "Eastern European" lagers. Flavour is quite clean of malts and hops, a bit more to the sweeter, than we are used to in Finland. Biting and slightly dryish bitterness in finish. "

"This is pretty much the only beer I could easily find in Budapest. Makes sense though since it is brewed there. Pours a clear yellow with a thick white head. Flavor is umimpressive and tastes like a standard pils. Nothing special about this one except where I drank it."

"This beer is too ordinary to be good or bad. The colour is pale gold, the taste is malty with a sourish-bitter aftertaste. A little too carbonated that makes the mouthfeel toneless. "
