"(had it at 5% as Oude Kriek). Dark ruby red colour, not much head. Aroma is extreme sourness along with some cherryish notes. Flavour is the same. A very nice thing, but still lacks some of the stuff that's in the Van Schaerbeekse..."

"Drank this on at teh source several years back. A bit sweet and froofie loking, but very nice. Around the corner in Beersel there is another outfit with superior kreik, cannot remeber the name. "

"Just another great beer that aspidies keeps bringing out. This beer has an aroma that was just incredible. Huge amounts of brett, lemon, cherries and barnyard stinky funk that is what makes me a fan of these beers. Flavors were much the same as the nose. Not much else to say. The beer does all the talking here. Fantastic. "

"This Kriek pours a slightly hazy cheery red color from a 375ml bottle. Small sized pinkish foamy head. Aroma is funky, fruity, tart cherries, leather and must. A medium bodied Kriek/lambic. Funky and tart, fruity and sour, acidic and funky. WOW. Lively carbonation. Bone dry with a good amount of sweetness. How the heck do you do that? Very smooth but with just the right amount of acidy to balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is bone dry and crisp. Aftertaste is tart and sweet. (Bottle date is 15/05/04)"

"Pours with a deep red body topped by a thiin to medium thick head wtih some lacing. It’s sour and tart with a slihgt note of cheries and a hint of horseblanket that becomes more evident towards the end of the bottle. Light to medium bodied, dry and smooth."
