This surprisingly strong ale is named after the Flemish word for devil. Also known for its large, creamy head.

"i like the head, but after that it really did nothing for me that would make it stand out from any other belgian blonde/strong. That said, it's pretty good, just not unique."

"This was one nice colored beer, poured a nice foam and had a terrific taste. The alcohol note was there, you could taste it for sure. I did pick up a lot of different flavors in this one. Would recommend a try atleast once. "

"WOW! What a head! It looks like whipped cream. This is simply a great beer. What a name. Duvel… Devil… Ha! The appearance is classic as well. It is a pale straw yellow ale with the aforementioned head. The taste is delicious and refreshing with a slightly bitter finish. You must try this beer."

"When you think about mainstream 'supermarket' type beers - Budweiser, Heineken, Corona, Beck's, etc... all those lagers should strive to be like this Duvel. Crisp and clean, and tastes great even as it drops to room temperature. As I finish off the beer, there's a wonderful flowery scent. It always makes me want another ice-cold bottle! Because of its steep price, the single bottles sit on the refrigerator shelf forever at my local beer store, exposed to its flourescent lighting. Even with all that punishment, Duvel tastes just fine. For days when I don't want to drink dark, heavier beers, this is my pick."
