"Light gold body with a white head, of course. Some lacing, and that's always good to see. Rather balanced malt and hop aroma, yet fresher and cleaner than other German Pilseners I've had as of late. The initial flavor is a balanced combination of malts and hops, but the hops seem to quickly take over and prevail through the finish. Mouthfeel is fitting for the style; carbonation is lively, and there's a dryness in the end. This truly is a good Pilsener, and I could only imagine it being that much better on tap in Germany. "

"Bottled@SBWF2007. Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grass, hay, some malts and slight saltyness. Flavour is saltyness, malts, hops and some earthy hints. "

"This poured a light golden color. There was a head that diminished quickly into a thin line of lace around the edge of the glass. There was a faint skunky smell when first opened. The taste was smooth enough and not bad."

"I am a real fan of the German Pils...this was one of my favorites. Smooth taste, well carbonated, lightly hopped, but but still noticable. "
