The world's most popular wheat beer. Erdinger Weissbier is a traditional Bavarian wheat beer brewed in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Erdinger Weissbier is bottle fermented - like champagne - resulting in a unique refreshing taste. Its glistening golden-straw colour and majestic frothy head are unmistakeable.

"This is a very good beer, one of my favorite beers of all. Excellent aroma , pleasing color, nice fluffy head (especially on tap). The best part is the taste, this is the best tasting and most fulfilling beers I've had so far. Very smooth.
If you want the full experience get this brew on tap and ice cold. "

"Ehhh, Not very good, yet not very bad. Smells and tastes of some sticky malts. Very foamy, but other than that, a very disappointing hefeweizen. Zero banana flavor/smell, which I thought was supposed to be standard here. Nothing interesting in this beer at all. Tastes a lot like a lager.
As I approach the bottom of the bottle, I reconsider...this really isn't very good at all."

"Standard, so-so hefe I was hoping for a little more character. Sweet, dry wheat aroma with minor notes of banana and a touch of clove. Vibrant, cloudy, golden-orange color with a fluffy head and spotty lacing. Light bodied mouth feel that is fresh and quenching. Easily a good session beer, but I prefer more body. Crisp wheat malt, grainy along with a light citrus taste. Mild banana and mildly spiced cloves are present."

"I was a bit disappointed with this one. Hazy yellow color with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy and malty with only a slight hint of fruit. The flavor is somewhat bland with some spice, grassy and malty. Bottle is labeled as a hefeweizen but is seems more like a cross between a hefe and a lager to me. "

"Pours a hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma is wheat. Flavor is malted wheat with hints of citus and coriander. High carbonation. All in all an OK beer."
