Our tribute to the town we consider to be "Gonzo Ground Zero"...Woody Creek White is a traditional Belgian style Witbier, brewed with unique ingredients like orange peel and coriander, resulting in a refreshing and slightly citrus flavor, perfect for the "dog days of summer".

"Cloudy straw colored body with a minimal sized white cap. Yummy floral aroma with banana, yeast, and clove a mild citrus is also detectable. Flavour is sweet and smooth and I swear it tasted like muffins. More muffins, cloves, yeast, banana, and a touch of lemon are all in the flavour. Body seems a touch light and is way to heavily carbonated. Not the best Wit I’ve ever had but still highly drinkable. "

"A murky yellow apperance with a white head. The aroma contains coriander, lemons, and oranges. The flavor is rather light with some lemons, orange peels, and a hint of clove. Overall a decent summer beer but a little bit on the light side even for a witbier. "

"Poured out a thin but creamy bright white head that leaves lots of nice slippery, silty lacing. Cloudy dark yellow beer prior to the sediment pour. The aroma is nice and attentive with cloves, must, bananas (not a sickly ripe smell though), tangerine and yeast. The flavour is right where it should be - mild, a bit empty, cloves and yeast, more musty taste, lemon. Not bad, I've just had better ones. Light bodied and light mouth feel, seems a bit dull."

"Pours a hazy yellow with a nice foamy white head and nice lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of yeast, slight clove and banana, a little Juicy Fruit gum, and some pepper. Taste is a little musty with a yeastiness that includes some fruit and a slight black pepper spiceness. "

"Pours a thick hazy yellow body with a thick white head, that leaves a fair amount of lacing. Aroma is earthy with cloves, and a little citrus. The flavor was rather strange, nothing stood out except a musty and bitter taste. The bottle says its a seasonal, dont know if its old (brewed in 08')but it should still be good. Dont know if i would try this again. Tasted on 8-27-08"
