"Hazy golden yellow/orange pour with a thick white head. Left a minimal amount of lace on the glass. Very little carbonation. Hint of banana and citrus aftertaste. Not bad."

"500 ml bottle. Poured in its original Franziskaner Vase a hazy pale amber colored Weissbier with a two fingers white creamy foamy head that had an excellent retention. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, yeast, fruity, ripe bananas, spicy, cloves. The flavour is grainy wheat malts, fruity, bananas, a touch of lemon and coriander. The mouthfeel is very smooth. This medium bodied Hefe Weissbier has a long fruity finish. A classic of the style. Very pleasant."

"more wheat and citrus than clove/banana/yeast, but it's still there. i liked this one, but there are better examples out there (schneider anyone) so i think it's a little overrated at #4 of 500+, but still pretty tasty."

"Nice orange weisse, smelled OK, dissapointed with mouthfeel and flavor, not much came thru for clove and banana. This is still a good German Hefe, not one my favorites."

"Wow. I somewhat knew what I was expecting going in, but this beer far exceeded what expectations I had. The taste of cloves and a mild banana is there, but it does not interfere with the other tastes in the beer at all. I bough this in a brown "Mini Wine" shaped bottle. Gold foil covers neck and cap."
