When the yeast is added to the wort the fermentation process begins. Most regular Lager beers convert approximately 80 % of the original wort into alcohol and CO2. At Fürstenberg approximately 84% of the wort ferments. Due to this higher fermentation level more sugar is turned into alcohol.

"1/2 liter can....no freshness code Pours a pale gold with a smallish white cap, modest lacing, heavy carbonation. Aroma is faint...leafy-grassy light whisp of citrus and biscuit malt. Thin and spritzy...light on malts, slightly bitter and dry with a clean finish"

"Clear golden colour. White rocky head that sinks, light bubbling.
Subdued aroma. Grainy.
Mostly a grain & malt flavour profile. Touch of a light cara malt. None of the typical "skunky" euro lager profile in this beer, which is a nice change.
Some subtle herbal notes, with a light bitterness.
A little cloying.... could have more crisp bitterness for my liking.

"they have changed the look of their bottles which have now a Corona-look; clear bright golden colour, almost no foam, plastic and skunky aroma, flat, sweet and watery with a paperboard finish - a terrible and by no way "fürstliches" beer; just a shame

"330 ml bottle, now available in Norway. ABV is 5.3%. Clear pale golden colour, decent to moderate head. Flowery aroma of aromatic hops, notes of honey, grass and fresh plums. Flavour is less interesting - moderate grassy hops with a certain fruity sweetness.
Easy drinking, but no masterpiece."
