Billed as 'the strongest blonde beer in the world', it is a very tasty strong ale. Despite the strong alcohol content, the taste of it does not dominate the total flavour.

"Golden yellow, strong foam. Aroma is sweet and bready, maybe even too sweet. Taste has only alcohol in it. It's so strong, that it kills all the other taste nuances in this beer. Ugly :("

"04.10.05 0.25L bottle, thank god. Yellowish beer, rather still; bubbly, disinterested head leaves sticky spots of lace. Aroma is faint, but sweet, papery, some fruit (plum, white raisin), and shockingly little alcohol. What is a sweet, flat, bland beer at first turns violently into a cloying mess with burning alcohol and lingering blech. Something unpleasant lingers on the back of the palate. It’s a bit like they just added grain alcohol to a barely passable pale lager."

"Golden in color with very little head on the pour. Aroma of muted flowery hops; also seemed a bit stale. Heavy malt sweetnes, made all the more viscous and sweet by the high alcohol content. Stinging alcohol bite in the finish. Not a bad beer if you know what to expect coming in."

"Bottle. BB 08.09.02. Pale gold colour with slim white head. Aroma is alcohol and malt. Taste is better than I was expecting. But it does sort of taste like an average european lager with a vodka thrown in. Still, there’s a time and a place...."
