Like the digits suggest, it's a beer that's densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don't filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away. The first thing you notice is the hazy, cloudy appearance. That's how you know it's unfiltered. What hits you next is the spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by the crispy, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body, the result of blending barley malt with torrified wheat.

"Golden pour with fizzy white head. The aroma is...um, risking sounding like my wife..."it smells like beer". The taste is mild wheat with refreshing citrus (orange and a touch of lemon) presence and tinges of floral. This really improved as it warmed. Light and refreshing. The only complaint is that the wheat presence was light. High carbonation, but this still goes down easy. A very fine summer drinking beer. I thought it was pretty good."

"Banana yellow pour with virtually no head and slight lacing, this is a refreshing light choice for a hot summer day. Goose Island puts out a quality product at the same cost as below standard fare. This one, however is not on par with their other offerings. It is a little too innocuous for me. The flavor has a hint of banana and citrus. It just lacks body. But hey, it's hot outside. Have two. :o)"

"Pours a cloudy yellow color with a little white head. Not much lacing. Wheat smell but not overally aromatic. Lacked in flavor and was little more tart than other wheats I've had. "

"Bottle at Mcguilicuddy's. Pour was brilliantly clear golden yellow with lots of carbonation to display. Head and lacing not that impressive, as this style normally has more to offer. Aroma was herbal and fruity. Flavor was earthy, herbal, and fruity, yet no wheat bite and not nearly enough hops in the finish for an Am Wheat. Light body. Came across as a wheat-based blonde ale with little character, only decent drinkability."

"Odd label on this 12 oz brown bottle. Pour is hazy like a wheat but not real cloudy. Lighter yellow vanilla color comparable to many american wheats. Slightly tart and somewhat spicy. Less carbonation than I like in a wheat, usually you think of wheats as being more of a smooth champagne tingle. It’s probably because it’s urban and not rural. Look out, I am torrified buy the wheat. OK for a wheat and as expected compared to other american wheats. Cannot hold a candle to Marzoni’s 22 or Harpoon UFO Hefeweizen. On par with Hopsun and Witsun. Better than JW dundee’s american wheat version."
