In 1992, Gordon launches Finest Gold, a strong and refined beer with a typically scottish character, combining the forces of charm and persuasion. Its origins and its strength (10% degrees of alcohol) give it its smooth taste and explosive nature. The taste of this incomparable beer is nevertheless entirely suited to the new demand of its many enthusiasts. Gordon Finest Gold is today available in 33 cl and 50 cl cans.

"golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet malts as well as some spices. Flavour is alcohol, sweet malts and some fruit. The fun thing is, if I wouldn’t know it’s a belgian strong ale, I would go for the fact it’s a very wellbalanced ESL or ML, I still think it’s a wellbalanced thing, even though I would wait for a bit more both aroma and flavourwise from a Belgian Strong Ale. "Bottle. Golden colour with decent sized white head. yeasty/bready aroma with underlying malts. Taste is sort of strange but I like it. Not very subtle; malty, caramel , with a sweet finish. Full bodied with a slightly bitter, then sweet finish. "

"deep gold colour, few head, beautiful lace, slight nutty aroma, alcohol touch (of course) but not too much, quite heavy but with a nice balance, sweet with a spicy finish"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, let me give you the "Malt Liquor": of Europa! Ths is not sold in Scotland or so I am told. Golden in color, and all about 10% that will not kill you the next day. When In Belgium, I always warm up with Gordon's and Guinness, to get my genes a flowing. Talk a bout a wee heavy? This stuff is not wee anything other then wooooooooweeeeeeeee after two or three, try it, you'll like it. "

"Pure light yellow color, not thick white head, unpleasant alcoholic aroma. And also as regards flavor alcohol is dominating taste. Drinkable, but with no pleasure in that. Even hard to find out its flavor because of that alcohol taste intensity."
