The real beer for Father Christmas. Created in the thirties, Gordon Xmas initiated the tradition of Christmas brews.

"Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color ale with a huge foamy head with a light brown head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some dry fruits notes. Taste is also dominated by some sweet malt with noticeable trace of candi sugar and some dry fruits notes such as figs and plums. Body is slightly thin for the style with great carbonation and some light alcoholic phenols. Not the best Christmas Belgian style ale I have tasted but pretty good nonetheless."

"Beer in the same style as Gordon Scotch. Spicy flavor. Small layer of fine foam, when poured in the Gordon glass. Very dark red color. Taste is a bit sweeter then the Scotch, velvety, with hints of dark fruit. Good beer to sip when you have dropped of your wife for Xmas shopping."

"Dark amber colour with small beigeish head. Aroma of alcohol caramel and some malts. Also some plummy hints. Flavour is plummy sweet with some sour hints. Plummy aftertaste. Hides alcohol well, palate is a bit sticky, but still pleasant. "
