""Pick-A-Six" #2. Beer #3. Gosser Dark. One of the darkest beer I have ever seen. Very pleasant taste. Very nice white head. Goes down very good.

"An excellent brew. It pours a very dark brown with an evaporating tan coloured head. The aroma is stout-like with hints of coffee and roasted malt. The flavour is more barleywine like with sweet malt hints and a hoppy finish."

"I was a little skeptical when I picked up a six pack of this one. But the pour, hazy dark red-brown in color was inviting enough. The nose was beady with flowering hops. And the taste a smooth nicely blending of malt and hop."

"Gosser Dark is a famous brew from Austria (advertisements are seen in the classic suspense film The Third Man) and it is an excellent European dunkel. Good example of a full flavored beer not having to be high in alcohol. A quality import that was worth seeking out, before American craft brewing took off."
