It had to be done...Our brewers finally had to reject the notion that one of the world's most popular beer styles should only be available once a year. Found solely at The Great Dane at Hilldale, Notoberfest is indeed a true Oktoberfest beer, being brewed with 100% imported German malts and hops. Rejoice, and enjoy this silky, sweet treat all year long.

"Sampled on draught at the Hilldale location: Pours a clear red colour with a full two finger sized off white head. Aroma is rich and malty, carmel, hops and floral character. Taste is semi sweet, bready malts and biscuit flavors, faint licorice."

"An Oktoberfest for the masses? Lacks the bold German character I associate with the style. Pours a crystal-clear copper color with a thin tan head and fair lacing. A soft biscuity-caramel nose and a clean smooth mouthfeel. Taste is mild caramel malt, not at all sweet, with a fair amount of hop bitterness leading to a crisp, dry finish. "
