"The two bottles of DPA that I enjoyed really reaffirmed why I love American Pale Ales....easy, quenching, with plenty of malt and hops to be shared amongst the taste buds. Bright copper color, creamy eggshell colored head, and vast amounts of thick lacing. Sweet toffee aroma with bread and honey roasted nuts. Fresh, fruity/flowery hops permeate the scent. Filling with a nice malt body and a moderately light bitterness. Drinkable is an understatement. Near perfect balance between layers of fresh malt and floral hops. Bread, caramel, nuts, dry honey, flowers, citrus, and peppery spice are all to be discovered. Fantastic all around great beer that leaves you wanted to crack open another one."

"Very cloudy, bright yellow, darkens toward honey-golden at the top of the glass. Rich aroma has strong overtone of orange. Flavor is somewhat wheaty and has a strong orange component and some hop hints. This tastes more like a wheat beer than a pale ale. Texture is smooth and pleasing."

"This is a drinkable well balanced pale ale. It is what a pale ale should be amber with a hint of orange coloration in the appearence. a hoppy aroma with a good hoopy flavor that doesn't overpower. I thought this was very enjoyable one of the better pale ales I have had of late."

"Poured an amber/copper colored topped with a nice pearl-colored head leaving lots of lacing. Aroma was lively, floral with fresh sweet aroma of hops, lemon/citrus, and spice with some notes of alcohol. Smells of biscuits and malts; the aroma was not very strong and fairly nice. Mouth feel was full-bodied and carbonated. Good taste--not great. Citrus with a long hop finish turning bitter to a dry finish. A solid Pale Ale that you can drink just about anytime. There's a nice amount of flavor for a Pale Ale.

"Poured a bright clear orange coloured body with a decent medium sized white head. Excellent retention, Aroma was firm and to the the point- lively, floral and fresh hops. Mouthfeel was full and somewhat creamy, taste was citrusy- plenty of fruit was a long hoppy finish."
