Crack open Yeti Imperial Stout’s sophisticated sibling – Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Although these beers come from the same clan, they have entirely different personalities. Aging on a blend of French and toasted oak chips infuses a subtle oak and vanilla character into Yeti’s already intense chocolate, roasted coffee malt flavor and hugely assertive hop profile. Who says you can’t tame a Yeti?
A respectable 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

"I've been hanging onto this one for about 5 months. This is good stuff, quite a bit better than the regular version. Pours thick and dark with a thin dark brown head with some retention. The aroma really is a nice scent that seemed to get even better the more it breathed with some molasses, oak, cherries, coffee and malt. I love the complexity to this. It's very tasty with a lot going on but more mellow than expected with high drinkability. So the flavors are rather soft with bitter coffee, lots of oak and chocolate, and a dash of molasses. This is both roasty and creamy. Silky smooth. Really good, one of the best Impy Stouts I've had, and a class above the standard Yeti."

"Yesterday I tried the yeti imp. stout, so today its the oak aged yeti's turn. Like Y.I.S it pours a coal black body with a thin dark tan cap. The aroma immediatley hits you, vanilla, coffee, alcohol and a little fruit are present. The mouthfeel is thick and creamy, Flavor is complex with coffee, vanilla, chocolate and fruits all fighting for attention. Overall i like it (oak aged)better than the regular yeti, the coffee isnt as dominant, its more flavorful and smoother, you cant go wrong with either one though. Although its pricey it is a good beer thats worth your time."

"I'm the first to review this beer. Found it in the cavernous aisles of Total Wine and More. And it is so good....how good s it?.....had to do that....it is so good that I've given it as a gift several times since. This one is a step more extreme that the Yeri Imperial Great Divide puts out. The aroma and flavor is of wood and vanilla blended nicely into the mocha flavored malt. Watch this one, the ABV of 9.5% sneaks up on what is a very drinkable stout. "

"One of the better brews to come from Colorado. The beer pours a brownish-black with a thin oily tan coloured head. The aroma is roasted malt, some coffee, some chocolate, and a little bit of rye whiskey. The flavour is very dry as the oak-aged goodness comes through. The coffee is still a bit overpowering on this one."

"bomber poured into a glass looks like oil but DARKER wow thin very dark almost chocolate head huge coffee, chocolate, and alchohol aroma the first taste was very thick but smooth and lightly carbonated with so much complex flavor of chocolate and some nuts with a very distinct alchohol prescence but in a good way this was my first oak aged and it was over the top to say the least cant wait to try more this is a great beer"
