"A really great, easy to find stout. When I go to a bar this is one of the few drinkable beer they have. It is dark and smooth, but a little too better for my taste. "

"I first had this beer a number of years ago. I thought I would try it just to say a had tried an "English" beer. I expected it to be some horrible bitter thing that I could never finish - I was wrong! The beverage then and now is just a wonderful smooth, drinking experience, with a nutty, mouth filling character, dark in color with interesting bubble effects. It is a wee bit expensive due to the fact that the bottles are smaller than a standard 12 oz. This is a good beer to come back to after having some of the more aggressive drinks out there,"

"I must need to try this beer again everytime I've had it I remember liking it overall but there is something about the flavor that I can't seem to get past. I really like my darker beers and this one is exceptionally smooth and I can best describe it as milky with a malty chocolatey flavor. I feel I like everything about this beer from the way it looks and pours to the smell and lack of hardly any carbonation. I find the aftertaste to be a little on the bitter side. However, it has been a while since I have had it so I will update after I have had it again."

"It is certainly not the most fascinating flavours of any beer in the world, but it has not becoming world wide distributed by accident. Infact it would probably be the only commercially available, world beer that has an aquired taste. Overall its quite fantastic. SLightly bitter, but just a touch, sooooo easy to drink, and have many more of. The bubbles are endless facination for everyone, and its cause they are good, and they are good because they look nice. Head hits the bottom of the glass everytime. Exellent, but then everyone knows that."
