"This is just pure old old-school drunk uncle at the cookout beer. While not the nastiest out there, it is without a doubt among the contenders. It's just nasty out there."

"it's starting to get relly hard to differentiate between all these nasty pale lagers. This one was slighlty more bearable than some others. Not exactly a ringing endorsement."

"Only after having this fairly recently, I asked myself if I had ever reviewed it. Hamms is like an old american (mainly 60's-70's wisc) traditional brew that has dusty, cracked faded signs still hanging around redneck bars in the northwoods of Wiscnsin still promoting it. I had it again last week when my friend got 2 for $1 at a local bar here in Madison.
Pours a bright pee yellow colour with a full but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is grainy, malty and lemony all the way through. Nothing too spectacular, nostalig for some im sure- but otherwise a waste of time and the liver."

"Much better than I thought it would be, better than most of the bud, miller, coors products. Light yellow color not much aroma. A classic beer that I have surprisingly seen more of in the last few months. "

"A classic. The bear was a truly great advertising agent. The beer itself while cheap can be your best bet when visiting the beach or even going on a canoe trip. The flavor was under average, but it wasn't bad either."
