"Everything about this beer is average - and that's not all bad sometimes. You know what you're getting when you reach for this one - it's old-school honest, no-joke beer. Plain and simple."

"A beer I had in Chicago years ago - now served at Smokies Stadium @ the Tennessee Smokies games - AA affiliate for the Chicago Cubs. This is the only place I've seen this beer in Tennessee.
Pours a light clear golden yellow with a thin head but good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of sweet malts and decent hops. Taste is like a good summer lager - smooth with some sweet malts and some hops. A good summer ballgame beer. "

"Poured into a glass, it a had yellow/gold color with some head. Cheap cost beer that is good for outdooors or at a ballgame if served ice cold. Average mass produced Wisconsin beer."

"Just tried 'Old Style' today- and I am very impressed.
I expected to be disappointed for $4.00(and change) for a six-pack.
But no!, I am impressed. Very smooth! Very good!
No hoppy taste, just wheat- that's what I like!
Just look at the fellow reviews.
My opinion is that it is cheaper and better than Budweiser.
Thanks to Miller or whoever brews it, thanks Wisconsin!
