"enjoyed at the second Stumelagram tasting ... a weird fruity bretty aroma ... quite sour bite, with a strong bitterness ... combined with a strange steel drum sweetness .... good lacing ... crazy stuff ... enjoyable and a bit insane ... a good brew to share with a couple of people, a whole bottle could be to much.."

"This Belgian Ale pours a medium copper amber color from a 33cl bottle. Huge white foamy head with nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with a touch of wood and some yeast. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of vinous quality as well. The hops are citrusy. Interesting beer, kind of fruity and sweet, some wood, some yeast with a wine (sake?) like character. The flavors change with each sip. Subtle. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet."

"Bottle. Pour was cloudy orange with some brownish to it. Head was initially effervescent, yet quickly diminising to barely a ring around the edges, weak lacing. The aroma was rich alcohol, light oak, caramel and raisiney elements. The flavor was caramel, maple, brown sugar, alcohol, oak (the combination of which all seemed quite bourboney), sweet stuff, quite english barleywine-ish, not my cup of tea. A touch too sweet-sticky, although the mouthfeel wasn't that thick and this thing finished with a sour/acidity that was just odd in combination with the rest of what was going on. Meh."
