"Amber colored beer looks a bit thin, but with a huge, rocky head. Malty aroma of fresh baked bread and a definite yeastiness. Mouthfeel is heavy, thick and rich. Flavor has a bedrock of sweet malt that gradually swells in bitterness from start to finish. A leather note comes up late and figures prominently in the aftertaste along with a sweet/sour maltiness. Probably one of the best lager/bocks I've tried. Didn't even mind the expense after tasting this beer."
