Traditional German-style, unfiltered wheat beer, with a lively balanced flavor. Although no fruit or spices were used in the brewing, these flavors are created by fermentation with special yeast from the oldest brewery in the world. Try Wild Frog Wheat with a slice of orange for a crisp, refreshing experience.

"A less adventurous offering from this brewer, but that is a good thing in my opinion. A satisfying Hefe on a hot summer evening is always a good decision , and this one delivered. A fruity aroma with lots of detectable yeast esters. Prominent scent of banana with cloves, oranges, and a hint of vanilla. A small, collapsing head sat on top of a cloudy, orange/yellow body. The appearance is lazy due to the lack of proper head and little to no lacing. Lively and quenching on the palate, the beer is sweet and dry with a lighter body. Flavor is in tune with the style, it's no secret that good tasting American Wheat beers are few and far between. In a blind tasting, there is no doubt I'd say that this was from Germany. Comforting yeast dominance with a strong banana flavor and complimenting clove. Fruity and dry, the wheat shines. Good showing from a great local brewer."

"An orange color with a white head. The aroma contains some oranges, lemons, with a bready presence. The nose is a bit floral. The flavor is a bit sour with some wheat, oranges, cloves. A decent hefe overall. "

"Tasted at Noogfest 4.0 (2008). This Hefeweizen pours a light orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is banana and clove, touch of wheat. A medium to light bodied hefe. The malts are fruity, grainy and sweet. The hops are crisp and spicy. Nice banana and clove flavors, as well as some orange and citrus. Light and refreshing. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet."
