"I was not a huge fan of the old Amber Dry which this is supposed to replace. It's an amber coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy and slightly grainy. The flavour is a bit on the non-descript side. I was expecting of the floral taste found in the Amber Dry. In short, not a huge fan of this beer either."

"This one is the last for me to try of the three Founder's Series... unless they add some more (which I would not mind). It pours a clean amber colour with a nice creamy slightly off-white head. Retention is excellent and lacing left is pretty good. Big fruity aromas with heavy grain and cereal malt and mixed with some caramel and butterscotch. Reminds me a lot of the other two brews of this series. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, steady carbonation all over and lace following the glass all the way down. Mild caramel at first taste, but not too sweet with some nice flowery bouquet. Then the bready malt kicks in with some mild hoppy bitterness, to then finish with some light nuts and butter aftertaste. A pretty good beer, just like the others, but still think I prefer the Pilsener a slight notch."

"Bottle from Lubière: Poured a light amber color beer with a huge white head with average retention. Aroma is quite grainy with very limited hops presence. Taste is light with some sweet caramel and a good cereal/grain presence. Very little hops and finish a tad watery. Overall, this is a bit too boring and definitely prefers the Brickman pils as a session beer."

"Second in the new "founder's series" of "craft beers" from Brick............
This one's also promoted to be a "craft" amber and I'm sure they were aiming at Creemore's niche' with an amber, malty, sharp ale-like lager...this is a mild version of Creemore's lager with some of those ale-like chracteristics but falls a little short, but that may be to some tastes............
Poured as a clear amber lager with a good frothy 2 finger cap with fair retention and lacing.................
Aroma: Bready, sweet, spicey....
Medium-light bodied ...fair malt spine....sandy mouth feel..........
Fairly 2 dimensional profile with the sweet toasty grains fighting the sharp cedar hops ...and that underlying malty- buttery-spicey taste that makes this a decent lager. Finish is mildly crisp with good hop pronouncement and the lingering biscuit/bready after taste I seek...just a light sweetness and bittering in the after taste...............
There are certainly quality ingredients in this brew that make it refreshing, tastey and drinkable ,I will buy it again.
