"The 6th and final beer from the craft sampler case. Pale bock lives up to the name with a pale brown, heavily carbonated body with a thick head. Slight aromas of malt, flavor was light malts and nutty. Mouthfeel was watery. Overall it was decent, but i probably wouldnt buy it again.--- Overall i think Dundee, while serving decent products, makes its beer not for the conosuier, but for the masses, slightly above average brews for the "something thats different from budweiser" crowd."

"Presentation: It was poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a nice golden amber color with good clarity. The head is white in color, big, and fluffy. It quickly fades to just a thin covering of bubbles. As I drink a small amount of lace is left behind on the glass.
Smell: It has a simple clean aroma of sweet bready malts.
Taste/Mouth feel: There is a light caramel sweetness to the malt with a thin earthy hop flavor throughout. It finishes cleanly with some mild hop bitterness. The body is light to medium with just enough carbonation for balance.
Notes: Over all I would say that it is an average beer that is easy to drink with a simple clean flavor.

"Another brew from these guys that I felt was a little weak for the style. Pours a dark amber colour with a full head. Aroma is a little nutty with hint of oak and earth. Taste is lighter, slight caramel and a creamy soft finish. "

"Just the way I like it. Sweet with not a whole lot of hoppage. The head is humongo fluffy white from the bottle pour, with excellent staying power and retention after melting. The hue is a nice light orange to amberish. Tasting JW Pale Bock was a pleasurable experience. It was buttery smooth, malty, nutty, and juicy. Flavors of spice and caramel come out in bold fashion, with very little hop bitterness detected. Good malty nose and subtle finish also make this pale bock a positive choice for the beer geek.

"This beer pours with a nice light copper colored body topped off by a medium sized slightly off white head that left very little lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma is clean and malty with some subtle caramel tones coming through as well. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and very drinkable. For what its worth the flavor is actually pretty good, lots of sweet malts, light light hop bitterness and a subtle buttery caramel flavor coming through in the finish."
