"This one was a gift. A grassy yellow color to the body. Some bready-sweetnes in the aroma. Good carbonation. Floral hoppiness An easy drink but nit one I'd try again."

"I'm not big into blondes but this one was pretty bad anyways. I would rather be drinking lucky lager than trying to force down this stuff. "

"Forth brew of eight brought back by my girlfriend from her trip to Europe. Sampled from their 330ml bottle. This one is labelled on the bottle Jenlain Bière Blonde Spéciale and is at 6% ABV. The number has risen to 7% ABV as of March 2005. Best before date is 04/2006. It pours a golden colour with a nice creamy white head. The lacing left is quite good and the carbonation is steady, but relaxed. The smell is very malty with notes of skunk (green bottle). The mouth has sweet malt mixed in with grass one. Nothing too crazy, but smooth, and better then a macro. Slight bitterness in the back of the throat. A much better Stella Artois."

"Bleah. This was horrid. Maybe I got a really old bottle, but it was a murky orange color and smelled and tasted sour. Fortunately, I got one bottle in a trade, so I'm not forced to sit and look at the remainder of a six pack wondering how the hell I'm gonna finish it."

"Aroma is vanilla and sugar. Appearance is a murky yellow color. Flavor is very bland with a sugary aftertaste. It's similar to a light pilsener with a few teaspoons of sugar throw in. I’m not impressed with this one at all. The Jenlain Ambree is much better. I dub this beer Pepe Le Pew, because its from France and it stinks!"
